Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake is a glacial lake in
Sikkim and located at an altitude of 12,310 feet. Around 40 km away from
Sikkim, the reflection of surrounding trees makes the lake even more beautiful
and attractive. In Summers and Autumn, the lake is ringed by the colorful
Primula flowers while in winter the lake transforms into a spectacular
snowfield. A small Shiva Temple by the roadside denotes that the lake is
considered sacred by the locals.
